Patients can now be seen at The Platinum Medical Centre,at short notice, by an experienced private GP. You won't have to wait for weeks to get an appointment, tests, x-rays or diagnostic scans can be carried out on site, enabling a rapid diagnosis and a treatment plan that can be tailored to your needs.

Dr Lisa Anderson MBBS, DCH, DRCOG, MRCGP
Dr Lisa Anderson qualified as a doctor in 1986 at St. Mary's Hospital Medical School and as a GP in 1991. Since 1993 she has been a half-time Partner at an NHS GP Practice in Hampstead Garden Suburb and in parallel has developed a private general practice in order to be able to give her patients a professional, comprehensive medical service. Her main areas of interest include paediatrics, women's health, chronic disease management (asthma, hypertension, COPD and diabetes) and mental health. Her other areas include vast experience of health screening and insurance work .
Dr Anderson is also the Secretary of the Hampstead Medical Society. Post graduate qualifications include Diplomas in Child Health and Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Dr Anderson is married with two teenage children. Her interests outside medicine include music and travel.
Dr Eric Dan-Goor MBBS, DCH, MRCGP, MUHMS
Dr Dan-Goor works as a primary care physician (GP) in the private health sector.
Having graduated from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in 1985, he completed a residence training programme in primary care at this major Londonteaching hospital. He was awarded a Diploma in Child Health by the Royal College of Physicians in 1991, reflecting his special interest in children’s’ care within the community.
His medical career has been diverse and includes various hospital training posts in emergency medicine, internal medicine and care of the elderly. This is in addition to a 4 year training programme in otolaryngology (ENT), paediatric otolaryngology, plastics and general surgery.
He is also a member of the Royal College of GPs and the Independent Doctors' Forum, working independently of the NHS.
His other medical interests include hyperbaric medicine (HBO) and is an active member of the UHMS society, an authoritative body of HBO specialists in the United States.
His other interests include continuing medical education, scientific publications, SCUBA diving and music.
Dr Selwyn Dexter, BSc (Hons), MB ChB, LRCP, MRCS, Dip Med Ac
Dr Dexter has been a General Medical Practitioner in Westminster for over 20 years and is a council member of the Central London Consortium of GP’s.
He qualified from Liverpool University with degrees in medicine and pharmacology. He has interests in general medicine, migraine, medical acupuncture and research.
He is a specialist in Migraine and recurrent head pain having spent over 14 years at an eminent head pain clinic linked to St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. He has a particular interest in treating migraine and also in headache related to sexual activity (benign coital headache/POIS).He has published papers in the British Medical Journal and others.
Dr Dexter is a qualified specialist in acupuncture awarded the diploma of the British Medical Acupuncture Society in 1990.
He spent 8 years at the Royal Free Hospital Pain Clinic treating complex pain syndromes. He was appointed Senior Research Fellow in 2003. His other interests within acupuncture include gynaecology and inflammatory eye disease (e.g. keratoconus, blepharitis).
He is recognised by medical insurance companies for acupuncture treatment.
Married with four sons (two budding doctors), his outside interests include writing, music and walking his dogs over Hampstead Heath.
Dr Timothy D F Lebens BM, DFFP, MRCGP
Dr Lebens has spent the last four years working at an academic practice in Kensington and looking after many corporate clients at a practice in Wimpole Street. He also works and writes for Esquire magazine as their resident doctor.
Dr Lebens trained at Southampton Medical School and spent three years in postgraduate training at St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington. He has also worked in Psychiatry at The Priory Hospital, London.
His specialist interests include Occupational and Preventative Medicine, Psychiatry, General Medicine, Sexual Health, Paediatrics, Acupuncture and Minor Surgery.
He holds a Diploma in Family Planning and is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Dr Peter Morris, MB ChB
St John's Wood GP Peter Morris has been practising for over 40 years. A firm favourite with many families, he’s also a family man himself, with two grown up children and five grandchildren. Peter offers general practice for all the family, and has a special interest in sports medicine, orthopaedics and ENT (ear nose and throat conditions).
Dr John Stephens, MBBS, LRCP, MRCS, DRCOG
John Stephens qualified in medicine from Guy's Hospital Medical School, London in 1973 and worked as a Renal and Surgical House Surgeon at Guy's Hospital.
He worked as a Metropolitan Police Surgeon in the West and East End of London and as a Senior House Surgeon in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St Thomas' Hospital, London. John Stephens was a General Practitioner and Partner from 1977 to 2010 in a training practice within the National Health Service where he became Senior Partner in 1997. He taught doctors, nurses and medical students within the practice.
John Stephens has specialised in medical legal examinations, reports and insurance claims since 1991.
He has wide experience of all aspects of General Practice and a dedicated interest in family medicine. He is an experienced communicator.
Outside General Practice he is a Freeman of the City of London, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.
He is married with three grown up children and is interested in family activities, art and travel.
Dr Ruth Whitby
Dr Whitby trained at Kings college Hospital in London qualifying in 1989 and entered General Practice in 1992. She has worked both in the UK and abroad; she spent 5 years in Japan where she became the first foreign national to be awarded a Japanese Medical License. In Tokyo, Ruth worked as a GP to the ex-pat community and developed her interest in stress-related disorders.
Dr Whitby has been a GP in the local community for 15 years and works in St Johns Wood, Golders Green and Wimpole Street in Central London. Her special interests include stress related medicine, working closely with Professor Tanya Byron, women’s health, paediatrics and general medicine.
Ruth is married with 2 children.
